1% for the Planet
In 2012, Mendill became a member of 1% for the Planet, a growing movement of more than 1,200 companies and brands that donate 1% of their sales to organizations in support of environmental causes. Joining forces with 1% for the Planet represents a natural extension of Mendill’s long-standing commitment to environmental stewardship and demonstrates the scope and permanent nature of its involvement in environmental work. We have always been interested in opportunities to support green projects. Our contributions to 1% for the Planet allow us to do just that.
About 1% for the Planet: 1% for the Planet is a large and growing network of corporate and nonprofit organizations committed to the health of our planet. Cruelty Free – No Animal Testing
Animals – we love them whether they’re big, small, fluffy, furry, wriggly, cute or even a bit funny looking. That’s why ever since Mendill began, we’ve always been against animal testing for the ingredients in our products. Using non-animal tests and existing ingredients that have already been proved to be fine is the way to do it.
100% Certified Organic
Many consumers have started purchasing organic food because they do not want to be exposed to harmful pesticides and chemicals. That’s the same reason millions of consumers have turned to Mendill’s products made with certified organic ingredients; they want to have all the benefits of great products without any unhealthy ingredients. Just like with food, your skin absorbs up to 64% of what you place on it, so instead of harmful ingredients use healthy ingredients. Most women switch to an organic lifestyle when they are pregnant because they want to protect their unborn child from harmful toxins. We’re here to convince you to stick with these healthy habits because your kids and family care about your health and you care about looking fabulous! It’s never too early or too late to start using organics!
Mendill’s commitment to sustainability is reflected throughout our entire supply chain and operations. By taking a close look at our end-to-end carbon footprint, we have gained a great understanding of our main sources of emissions and have been continuously identifying and implementing more sustainable practices wherever possible. As a result, we are driving improvements across a number of business areas and activities.
